Two assistants, two purposes: Doctor Vet offers an assistant for veterinarians built into the app (web and Android) that helps with daily management and clinical work, and an assistant for pet owners that owners reach via WhatsApp.
On top of that, clinics on a PRO plan can connect their own phone with WhatsApp Business so the assistant replies directly on the clinic’s number.
1. Assistant for Veterinarians
An AI assistant built into the Doctor Vet app, available on both the web version and Android. Designed for veterinarians and platform professionals: it helps with day-to-day clinic management and supports clinical work.
Support during consultation and diagnosis
It supports the professional during appointments, helping analyze information and organize clinical work. It can process different types of content:

Processes images with vision systems to support clinical analysis
Documents
Reads and analyzes PDF and Word files (studies, reports, medical records)
Audio
Receives audio messages and transcribes them automatically

2. Assistant for Pet Owners
A generic AI assistant called "Doctor Vet" that pet owners can connect to. It answers questions and guides owners on behalf of the veterinary clinic they are linked to.

3. Connect your clinic’s phone to WhatsApp Business
You can now link a phone that belongs to your clinic with WhatsApp Business so the Doctor Vet assistant replies on that channel. Your clients message the same number they always have, your clinic’s number, and the assistant answers there with your clinic’s information.

What you need to link the phone
A phone with its number
The phone and the number (SIM card) can be new or already in use. You can use the line your clinic already has or activate a new one.
WhatsApp Business up and running
The phone must have WhatsApp Business installed and working with that same number before you link it.
Once linked, don’t use the phone manually
Once the number is linked, the assistant answers every conversation that reaches that WhatsApp account. That’s why we don’t recommend keeping the phone in manual use: your replies would overlap with the assistant’s.
The assistant serves both existing clients and people who aren’t clients yet: it answers questions from anyone who has just discovered your clinic, brings them closer to it, and handles their requests without you having to watch the phone.
Warm-up period for outgoing messages
To protect the reputation of a newly linked number, the assistant doesn’t start sending outgoing messages right away. It first needs to receive ten incoming messages from ten different numbers; after that, it starts sending outgoing messages normally.
