This disclaimer sets forth the terms and conditions of use of the Doctor Vet web and mobile application, owned by Xionce and the individuals who develop Doctor Vet. By using this application, you accept these terms and conditions.
Important: medical limitations
Information provided in this application is for informational purposes only and must not be considered a substitute for professional veterinary advice or treatment. This application does not provide medical diagnoses and must not be used to make important medical decisions.
Artificial intelligence (AI) features
Doctor Vet may include AI-based assistance features such as suggestions, summaries, recommendations, alerts, or indicative hypotheses (including diagnostic assistance). These features are offered as operational and informational support and may produce results that are incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate for a particular case.
AI disclaimer: use at your sole risk
You acknowledge and accept that any output from AI features does not constitute a diagnosis, therapeutic indication, prescription, or professional medical/veterinary advice. You are solely responsible for critically evaluating, verifying, cross-checking, and validating any AI output before using it, and for any decision made based on it. Accordingly, Xionce, Doctor Vet App, its developers, collaborators, and/or providers assume no liability for damages, losses, or consequences (direct or indirect) arising from the use, interpretation, or application of AI-generated results, including but not limited to errors, omissions, clinical decisions, harm to animal health or life, economic losses, third-party claims, or penalties.
You agree to use these features under professional supervision, clinical judgment, and applicable regulations. In emergencies or when patient health requires it, you must prioritize professional evaluation and judgment and not rely on AI features.
Medical records shared across veterinary practices
Doctor Vet allows patient medical records to be shared and accessible across different veterinary practices. This means a patient’s medical information, including visits, diagnoses, treatments, and clinical notes, may be viewed and supplemented by professionals at multiple veterinary facilities.
Warning: visibility of medical records
IMPORTANT: Anything you write in a patient’s medical record may be visible to veterinary professionals at other practices with access to that patient, including clinical notes, observations, comments, and any other entries.
All professionals are expected to use technical, professional, and respectful language in all medical records. Do not write personal comments, unprofessional opinions, insults, jokes, or any content not strictly related to veterinary medical care.
Content responsibility
Each user is solely responsible for the content they write in medical records. By using Doctor Vet, you agree that:
- You must record only relevant, accurate, and professional medical information
- Your content may be visible to other authorized veterinary professionals
- You are responsible for confidentiality and professionalism in all your entries
- Only you may edit or delete content you created
- You may not modify or delete records created by other professionals
- You must comply with regulations and ethical standards of the veterinary profession
Editing permissions and restrictions
Each record, session, or entry in the medical record belongs to the user who created it. Only the original author may edit or delete a record. Professionals at other practices may view these records but may not modify or delete them. This helps ensure integrity and traceability of medical information.
Consequences of misuse
Misuse of medical records, including inappropriate, false, offensive, or unprofessional information, may result in suspension or termination of your account without prior notice. You will also be responsible for any legal, professional, or ethical consequences of inappropriate conduct. Doctor Vet, Xionce, and the individuals who develop Doctor Vet reserve the right to review content in case of reports or complaints and take appropriate disciplinary action.
Acceptance of terms
By accessing and using Doctor Vet services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, you must stop using this application immediately.
Limitation of liability
You assume all risks associated with use of this application. The developing company and the individuals who develop Doctor Vet will not be liable for any damage or loss, direct or indirect, arising from use of this application, including but not limited to:
- Damage from data loss
- Service interruptions
- Security issues
- Functional errors
- Any other issue related to use of this application
Third-party services
You acknowledge that the developing company and the individuals who develop Doctor Vet have no control over products or services provided by third parties through this application. Neither the company nor those individuals will be liable for any damage or loss caused by use of third-party products or services through this application.

You acknowledge that the developing company and the individuals who develop Doctor Vet may collect personal information, including but not limited to name, email address, and phone number. This information will be used solely to improve the user experience and will not be shared with third parties without your explicit consent.
Modifications and discontinuation of service
You acknowledge that the developing company and the individuals who develop Doctor Vet may modify or discontinue this application at any time without prior notice.

You agree that the developing company and the individuals who develop Doctor Vet may send emails to customers, which may contain links to external references or services provided by the application.
Responsible use and restrictions
Responsible use policy: You agree to use this application responsibly and conscientiously.
