1. Parties and identification of the service

These terms govern access to and use of the conversational channel “Doctor Vet Assistant,” operated within the Doctor Vet ecosystem and associated technologies. For purposes of these terms, “we,” “the service,” “the operators,” “xionce,” “Doctor Vet,” and “the product creators” refer collectively and without limitation to: the owning company or organization (including xionce), natural and legal persons who develop, maintain, distribute, or commercialize Doctor Vet and Doctor Vet Assistant, their directors, partners, managers, employees, contractors, technology providers, infrastructure providers (including Meta Platforms, WhatsApp LLC, Telegram Messenger LLP, and similar entities), licensors, and affiliates.

“You” or “the user” means any natural person acting as owner, guardian, caregiver, or representative of a pet, or contacting the assistant for any reason related or unrelated to companion animals.

2. Nature of Doctor Vet Assistant

Doctor Vet Assistant is an automated and/or assisted communication channel that may use artificial intelligence, predefined rules, integrations with third-party systems, and dynamically generated responses. Responses may be incomplete, generic, contextually wrong, outdated, or unsuitable for your particular situation. The assistant does not replace the professional judgment of a licensed veterinarian, nor legal, tax, or contractual advice, nor veterinary medical diagnosis.

• We do not guarantee continuous availability, minimum response times, or accuracy of content.
• We do not guarantee that suggestions about veterinary clinics, schedules, prices, stock, or links are current when you use them.
• Conversations may be logged, analyzed, and used in accordance with the applicable privacy policy and governing law.

3. Features offered through the assistant (non-binding scope)

Without prejudice to anything else in this document, the assistant may guide or facilitate information related to, among other topics:

• Searching for or guidance about veterinary clinics: public data, listings, approximate geolocation, or links that may be wrong or outdated.
• Pet donation and adoption: contacts, campaigns, or third-party references; the product creators do not verify identities, backgrounds, or animal welfare conditions in each case.
• Buying and selling pets: commercial information may be provided or third parties connected; any transaction is strictly between you and those third parties.
• Managing appointments with veterinary clinics associated with the platform: the assistant may act solely as a technological or informational intermediary; the contractual and professional relationship is between you and the establishment or veterinary professional.
• Sale of products and food: catalogs, estimated prices, or links may come from third parties; availability, quality, expiry, and legal compliance are solely the sellers’ responsibility.

The above list is illustrative and does not imply an obligation to provide features or guarantee outcomes. We may modify, suspend, or remove features without notice.

4. Third parties, messaging platforms, and external links

Use of WhatsApp, Telegram, or other channels implies acceptance of those providers’ terms and policies. The product creators do not control network failures, account blocks, Meta/Telegram use policies, or the security of the user’s device.

Links or data about third parties (clinics, breeders, shelters, marketplaces, stores) are provided as-is without warranty. We do not endorse, approve, or continuously verify such third parties. Any claim for defective products, poor services, fraud, animal abuse, or breach must be directed exclusively against the relevant third party.

5. Private trade and animal welfare

You declare compliance with applicable laws on responsible ownership, species trafficking, health documentation, vaccinations, and sale or adoption of animals. The product creators are not party to sale, donation, or adoption negotiations and do not guarantee the legality, morality, or suitability of listings or users with whom the assistant may connect you.

You assume all risks of in-person meetings, advance payments, shipping, and verifying counterparties’ identity. You are advised to exercise extreme caution and consult official sources and professionals independent of the assistant.

6. Appointments with associated professionals

When the assistant facilitates scheduling appointments with veterinary clinics linked to Doctor Vet, it acts only as a communication or referral tool. Delivery of veterinary services, fees, cancellation policies, final schedules, medical records, and professional liability rest exclusively with the establishment and treating veterinarian.

We do not guarantee calendar availability, correct automatic confirmation, or absence of errors in dates, time zones, or data entered by the user or automated systems. Any dispute between user and clinic will be resolved outside xionce and the product developers.

7. Products, food, and sanitary compliance

Information about brands, ingredients, portions, or dietary compatibility provided by the assistant does not replace guidance from a clinical or nutritional veterinarian. The product creators are not liable for allergies, poisoning, market recalls, mislabeling, or sale of unauthorized products by third-party sellers.

9. Prohibited use and user conduct

You may not use the assistant for:

• Illegal activity, fraud, harassment, threats, discrimination, or sexually explicit content involving minors or animals.
• Malicious code injection, unauthorized mass scraping, or attempts to compromise systems.
• Identity theft or providing false data that harms third parties.
• Any use that violates WhatsApp, Telegram, or other integrated platforms’ terms.

We reserve the right to block, limit, or stop responding to users who breach these rules, with no obligation to give reasons or pay compensation.

10. General limitation of liability (broad clause)

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws, the product creators shall not be liable to you or third parties for any matter, including without limitation:

• Errors, omissions, or delays in the assistant’s responses.
• Health, economic, contractual, or family decisions based on use of the service.
• Death, injury, or suffering of animals with or without attribution to use of the assistant.
• Loss of business opportunities, medical slots, or appointments.
• Damage from viruses, malware, or unauthorized access to user devices.
• Force majeure, internet outages, strikes, governmental acts, or cloud provider failures.
• Any legal theory of liability: contractual, tort, strict, risk-based, or defective product related to the software or conversational channel.

If total exclusion of liability is not valid in some jurisdiction, the product creators’ aggregate maximum liability to you for all claims in the twelve (12) months before the claim shall in no event exceed the lesser of ten (10) US dollars or the minimum amount ordered by a competent court.

11. Release and indemnity in favor of the creators

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless xionce, Doctor Vet, Doctor Vet Assistant, and all persons and entities mentioned in Section 1 from claims, lawsuits, losses, damages, litigation costs, attorneys’ fees, and administrative penalties arising from: (i) your misuse of the assistant; (ii) breach of these terms; (iii) disputes with third-party veterinarians, buyers, sellers, or adopters; (iv) injury to persons or animals at meetings incidentally facilitated by information from the assistant.

12. Privacy and personal data

Collection and use of personal data may be described in the Privacy Policy published by Doctor Vet. You authorize processing necessary to operate the conversational channel, improve the service, and comply with legal obligations, without implying additional guarantees of absolute data security. Messages on third-party platforms may be subject to those third parties’ policies.

13. Intellectual property

Trademarks, logos, software, conversational flows, and proprietary service content are protected. No license is granted except personal non-commercial use of the channel as offered to the public. Reverse engineering for unfair competition or system compromise is prohibited.

14. Changes to terms and service

We may update these terms at any time by publishing the new version at the relevant URL or notice via the same channel. Continued use of the assistant after publication constitutes acceptance of changes. We may also discontinue Doctor Vet Assistant wholly or partly without liability or right to compensation for the user.

15. Severability and waivers

Partial invalidity of any provision does not affect the remainder. Failure to enforce a right does not waive it. Section headings are for convenience only.

16. Governing law and courts

Unless mandatory consumer law in your domicile provides otherwise, disputes shall be interpreted under the laws of the country of incorporation or domicile of the owners of Doctor Vet product development, without prejudice to other forums when required by law. You submit any claim —where applicable— to the courts corresponding to such choice or applicable jurisdictional rules.

17. Final acknowledgment

You declare that you use Doctor Vet Assistant voluntarily, with understanding, and at your own risk; that you understand the product creators do not provide veterinary services or guaranteed financial intermediation; and that any convenience offered by the assistant is ancillary and does not create agency, representation, partnership, or similar relationship between you and xionce or the developers.
